Overview

• These mounts are designed to be the highest quality and most durable support systems available and are compatible with Ingenico Readers Lane 3000, 5000 v.2, Lane 7000, 8000 and all future reader models equipped with the Lane clip mounting standard. 
• See the last pages of this document for a list of preconfigured assemblies that support the Ingenico Lane Readers in some of the more common mounting scenarios.

• No special tools are required to adjust the position of the reader on these mounts; easy to operate hand knobs are used to apply variable clutching resistance to the pan and tilt assembly to securely lock the position of the reader.
• The up and down tilt position of the reader is adjusted by tightening the 2 four-point knobs on the side of the Pan and tilt assembly. Tighten either of the two 10-32 Phillips head screws adjacent to the four-point knobs to permanently secure the tilt position.
•  The side-to-side pan position of the reader is adjusted by tightening the five- point knob below the end of the Arm. Tighten the 10-32 Phillips head screw on the lower Panning plate into one of the holes in the end of the arm to permanently secure the pan position.
• Note that the pan and tilt head assembly can also be used to support any screen that has the 50, 75 or 100mm VESA mounting standard with the Ingenico Lane clip removed.
• These assemblies are made almost entirely of steel with a durable, micro wrinkle, semi-gloss black, powder coat finish.

Standard VESA 75/100mm Pan and Tilt Head with Preset Pan Tension on a Riser

• Tightening the 2 four-point knobs applies variable clutching resistance to allow adjustment of the up and down tilt position of the reader. Tighten either of the two 10-32 Phillips head screws adjacent to the four-point knobs to permanently secure the tilt position of the reader.
• The side-to-side pan position resistance is preset at the factory with a 5/16” bolt in the center of the lower plate and should not need adjustment. However, a ½” wrench can be used to adjust the tension on this bolt. A 10-32 Phillips head screw on the lower Panning plate can be tightened to somewhat permanently secure the pan position.

10” Round Base Plate features

• The 10” round base plate is equipped with six, adhesive, non-slip, rubber feet (not shown in image above.)
• The Riser Assembly can be attached to the Base Plate at the center or offset positions; however as shipped from the factory; the riser is located at the offset position.
• Know that the lower riser screw that secures the riser assembly to the base plate was installed with thread locking compound to prevent the screw from loosening and the riser turning.
• It is challenging; but possible to remove this screw using a cordless impact driver and a large Philips head bit. Important Note: removal of the lower riser screw should only be attempted by qualified persons.
